Simply the best

Sophie was quite simply the best kitchen designer I have worked with (and it's been a fair few!) She understood my brief instantly – although I was perhaps not a typical client – and came up with an excellent scheme and very appropriate material and equipment choices, and she was sensitive to my budget. She kept all the tradespeople in the loop, ensuring everything was on time, and everything finished up to the last detail. She was incredibly responsive, totally committed to the project, highly knowledgeable and just an all-round lovely person to work with. Even after the job was completed, she was very approachable and helpful with my follow up questions. I simply cannot recommend her highly enough.

Extremely helpful right from our initial meeting

Sophie was the kitchen designer for our recent new kitchen at Vidaco. We found her to be extremely helpful right from our initial meeting when she demonstrated an excellent knowledge of the product and helped us to firm up our own ideas. Subsequently she produced a kitchen design which ticked all our boxes and quickly made minor alterations after discussing the design with us. Once we ordered the kitchen Sophie kept in touch and always responded promptly to any queries. Sophie is extremely friendly and has excellent communication skills. We have no hesitation in recommending Sophie as a kitchen designer.

Our only mistake was not having our kitchen fitted sooner

Beginning with Sophie who has a winning way with customers, her patient encouragement from the design stage to guide us through the choices which we wanted was such a help. We love our new kitchen and I'm sure we will continue to enjoy our kitchen for many years to come.

Reg was calmly in the back ground making the process seamless and stress free. James our joiner was not leaving until he had finished! Ricki, the electricians and the kitchen worktop fitters were professional and efficient. That standard is only achieved with good communication within the team.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Vidaco to anyone. Our only mistake was not having our kitchen fitted sooner.

A Delight and Pleasure

It was a delight and pleasure dealing with Maggie. Her professionalism, courtesy, guidance and advice were all first class.

She kept us up to date with what was happening, and once we accepted Vidaco's quotation delivery was made when they said it would be.

The minor issues that inevitably cropped up in such a project were dealt with quickly and without fuss.

A positive stress-free experience from our very first visit into the showroom right through to Kitchen installation.

Maggie our designer was extremely passionate and tentative on delivering our wish list, colour palette and appliances all within budget. Her communication along the whole journey was reassuring and went above and beyond.

We Love our New Kitchen

Can't believe the transformation in the new kitchen. It was a difficult room to design and after trying several companies we picked Vidaco because only Luke's design achieved all we asked for. It's now a pleasure to work there and we love it.

I had a very strict budget to stick to and was ecstatic to find that my ideas were listened to and after suggestions and advice we created a brilliant kitchen I now enjoy showing off! My husband is a joiner and so he fitted our kitchen but there were no issues at all and when he had small questions he received help no problem at all.

Above and Beyond

We chose this company following a shortlist of three companies. We selected them because they brought the best approach to design as opposed to fitting in kitchen units into a space. Gary was fantastic throughout and we valued his input. As with all projects things didn't always go to plan with the fitting of the kitchen, however Alan was always on hand to put things right. He went above and beyond the call of duty on many occasions. We even had the Operations Manager, Graeme, onsite ensuring all went to plan. All in all a great kitchen by a professional team.

Recently had a kitchen and utility fitted and cannot praise the team enough. I was unsure exactly what I wanted and although I had some ideas in mind, I did ask our designer for her suggestions and must say I could not believe how different she transformed our area. From our design appointments which were relaxed and enjoyable right through to the removal of our existing kitchen and fitting of our new we were kept up to date with what was happening and when and in whole was completed a bit quicker than expected. So happy we made the right choice!

We recently had our new kitchen and floor fitted by Vidaco.

From the very outset we have been impressed by the service and quality provided. From our initial design meeting with Gary who listened to what we wanted and came up with a fantastic design, through to Alan and his site team who installed the kitchen everything has been first class. Small tweaks and snagging were dealt with no fuss.

May be more expensive than other options but you get what you pay for.

Very Impressed

We would like to say that we were very impressed with Vidaco and in particular with the service that you personally provided.

Nothing was too much trouble and your suggestions and advice were very helpful to us during the project.

We appreciate the additional effort that was given to ensure that the worktops, handles, sink and tap were delivered within a shorter timescale than normal, so as not to affect the timing of the fit by our own joiner.

Everyone who has seen the kitchen has commented how much they love the worktops - as do we!

We have just installed a new kitchen through Vidaco of Glenrothes and are delighted with the result.

From the first meeting with the Vidaco team we felt really comfortable with the people we were dealing with and cannot praise them highly enough in all aspects of their work. We were lucky enough to be dealing with a very professional team from the excellent design of Maggie Bell to the great workmanship by the team of installers under the guidance of project manager Alan Given.

The kitchen was delivered right on time and the installation team worked tirelessly and in a very pleasant manner to achieve the great results we now have. The kitchen units by Hacker of Germany and the appliances by Neff are of the highest quality and have proved to be excellent to work with. Despite what proved to be a most difficult floor replacement, the work done by the flooring contractor has produced a striking and beautiful floor to complement the Hacker units and worktops.

We are truly delighted with the end result and would wholeheartedly recommend Vidaco to anyone looking for great design accompanied by high quality fittings and workmanship.

Stunning kitchen

After going round the national kitchen companies and seeing their proposals for what my wife was looking for only to find their plans did not reflect her wishes I was beginning to give up and keeping what we had.

That's when we decided to pop in to the Vidaco showroom at Suite 2, Unit 3 Lomond Business Park, Baltimore Road, Glenrothes.

As soon as you walk into the showroom you can tell it's not the usual run of the mill showroom with great displays of what's on offer. The receptionist Kimberly greeted us and asked what we were looking to achieve with the new kitchen. My wife explained what she was looking for and was shown different options. We were offered a free survey so the next day Gary Gourlay came to the house and measured the place up.

My wife and Gary then came up with design and after agreeing with Gary and my wives conception we paid the deposit and we got the space ready for the new kitchen.

Once we were ready for them the new kitchen was delivered and Duncan started the installation. I have to say what a credit to the company Duncan is, he was the ultimate professional and a very clean worker. He advised us on a couple of issues that we had overlooked especially the additional power supplies coming up from the worktop.

Credit also has to go to Alan the installation manager who was always on hand for any queries and popped in to assist when required.

The finished product is outstanding and we are very pleased with it.

If you are thinking of changing your kitchen I would highly recommend Vidaco - a local company providing a great product and service and the biggest surprise is they are not much more expensive than the big national companies but providing a personal service.

We just wanted to say thank you to everyone at Vidaco for a job well done!

From the initial contact in the showroom to the completion of the installation we were treated both professionally and courteously. The design process never felt rushed and reviews, changes and updates were evolutionary not revolutionary!

Their talented designer, Isabel, even highlighted a brand new option after we had agreed a final draft, leading to an even better solution for us. The installation team were fast but not hurried and the quality of their work was excellent as were the materials and appliances supplied. Just make sure you have an adequate supply of coffee and cakes for the tradesmen!

Thanks again for a kitchen we are enjoying every day.

Very impressive work by this company at a recent mutual client working on transforming a kitchen / diningroom where we added the glass extension and they completed the kitchen area beautifully!
